Are your reproductions copyrighted works?

Every painting in our gallery is either in the public domain or being sold under license from the estate of the artist. There is no need to worry about copyright infringement. If you find on our database a work of art which you suspect as being unlicensed, please notify us immediately.

Can I cancel my orders?

Yes, you can cancel your orders at any time with NO extra cost, however, you are strongly recommended to cancel order within 24 hours after order placed online; To cancel your orders, please ring our Toll Free number to inform our customer support staff at first moment and then send a email to us for record.

Can I pay by credit card to your Paypal account? Is it secure?

Yes, you can pay by credit card through Paypal. Paypal make all credit card transactions via a secured, bank-authorized credit card processing company and through a 128 bit SSL encrypted and secured Web page. No people ever see your credit card information as it is all done electronically. We do not keep your credit card number on our website. As an added level of security, all purchases are guaranteed by both your credit card and Paypal company.

Can I place a Rush Order?

Yes, you can, if you want to receive a order within 2 weeks, you can simply choose the rush order option under the size options, there is additional charge of $29 to be applied. 2 weeks include shipping time, mean you'll receive the parcel at your door within 2 weeks.

Please note, in peak season, we may not able to accpet too many rush orders, in that circumstance, we'll inform you within 12 hours after you placed order, if you don't accept normal order, we'll refund to you immediately.

Important Notice: Rush Order does NOT refer to how and when we ship the merchandise. It refers to how long it takes to paint your art.

Can I return a painting?

Even after approving the initial emailed photos of the painting, if you are unhappy with the paintings, you can return it to us for revisions. In the unlikely case that we can not improve it to your satisfaction, we will refund your payment. We do ask however that the revisions you request not conflict with the original direction that you gave our artists.

Can I see the painting before you ship it?

Yes, if requested by you during checkout, we will email you a digital photo of the painting. You can look at the images and ask for revision or approve the image for shipping.

Can I still order unframed paintings?

Of course, you can order unframed painting as you like, however, if you are going to buy a frame from local frame shop, I prefer to encourage you to buy a frame from us, try to choose a frame option on product view page, check the frame price and compare to your local price, you may found our price is around 30%~40% less than your local frame shop.

Can you add color to a black & white photo?

Yes. That is a frequent question from our customers. We can paint color portraits from your old black and white photos or damaged photos.

Can you offer gift wrapping service?

Yes, we can. Please choose gift wrap option on product page.

Can you paint a new oil painting from a bunch of different photos?

Yes, it is called a composite painting. Our artists start from scratch there is no limit to what we can add to or subtract from the original photos. For example a family portrait with an additional person, a different background or a photograph painted in the style of particular artist.

Can you paint from my photograph?

Yes, we can. In fact, every day, we create original paintings from photographs that our customers provided. We produce portraits, recreate wedding photos and painting of your pets.

Do I pay upfront for the painting or when I receive it?

You pay when you place your order with us. Before we begin working on your painting, we need to know that you have the means to pay for it. All online transactions work in this way, and keep in mind that all paintings ordered from Odsan Gallery are backed by our 100% money back guarantee.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Do you offer any guarantees?

Yes, in fact we offer many. The first guarantee is quality, we only offer museum quality oil paintings but not a commercial quality. And if requested by you during order processing, we will email you a photo of your painting. Our guarantee is that we will revise your painting until it meets your expectations. The second guarantee is when you receive the painting; you are free to return it for more revisions or else for a full refund minus our actual shipping cost - which is, on average, $35 per painting. The third guarantee safeguards against us not keeping the first two guarantees - though it has never happened. The credit card processing company that we work through will refund your money in full. So, yes, we offer three guarantees that your painting will not only meet your expectations but exceed them. Our return policy is valid for 30 Days and the return period is from the order items arrival date.

Do you sell paintings or prints?

We only sell 100% handmade oil paintings, hand painted by experienced artists. These are oil on canvas genuine masterpieces and each stroke, texture and nuance is created by hand - in the same way the original paintings were created. We use no printing, pressing or technological tricks to create our paintings.

Do you ship a framed painting?

Yes, when you place an order, there are options to choose your favorite frame. Anyway, you are able to choose an unframed painting as you like.

Does local customs or taxes included in your price or the free shipping package?

No, paying any local customs or taxes is the customer's responsibility, as every country has their own policy, it's various and it's difficult to pay by us. However, it has been our experience that 99% of the paintings arrive untaxed.

Does the reproductions looks exactly like the pictures on this website?

We know colors view from a computer screen may cause a bit difference from the actual. In order to avoid the color distortion on your painting we printed the art image as a hardcopy picture by using our professional printer against professional graphy design monitor. Our artists will paint your artwork refer to this picture, however, the color of painting you received maybe a slight differ from what you see on you screen which please note.

Does your reproduction looks exactly like the original one?

Since the reproductions painted by hand, there is always a slight variation between the reproduction and the original. However, we do our best to contain the same brushstrokes and techniques used by the original artist, so make the reproduction very close to the original art.

How about your painting's quality?

We only sell top-quality (museum quality), oil painting reproductions which were hand-painted by our talented painters.

How can I pay for my painting?

You can pay for your painting through PayPal, or money order. For large orders, we will accept a bank wire.

How do I return a painting?

You are required to contact us before returning a painting and await exact return instructions and a RMA number. Returned merchandise must be wrapped & packed in the original tube or cartonbox and send to the address of origin. Merchandise must be returned as instructed. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a penalty of up to $50.00 per painting. For more details please read RMA


How do you ship paintings?

We only use reputable carriers like FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT and EMS. We ship unframed paintings in a protective, hard plastic tube; Framed paintings in a special catonbox, painting and frame are all well protected.

How long will I have to wait for my paintings?

Normally, a painting will be completed in 2 weeks, and 3~7 days for nature dry, so totally 2 to 3 weeks. This is time for ordering process, you have to plus 3~5 days shipping transit time if you estimate the delivery time.

How long will I receive the painting?

Generally 2 to 3 weeks. As painting with oil on canvas is a complicated time-consuming process, our artists will spend around 10 to 15 business days in creating your reproduction. If your painting is much larger or if is extremely complex, the artist will spend a bit more time on it. After you have approved the painting, we'll ship it to you immediately. Shipping can take 3 to 5 days. When you order your painting, we will advise a detailed timeline to you that shows when you will see a sample and when you will receive your painting.

How much the shipping cost? Is there any extra cost I have to pay?

Shipping cost is Free. The price you saw on your shopping cart is the final price, it's an all-in price, shipping, handling charge, packaging cost and shipping insurance are all included. You'll never be asked for any extra payment.

I should buy a art print or oil painting reproductions instead?

Both art print and reproductions will décor your wall well, here I want to point the key difference between art prints and paintings: prints are flat picture which may show much more details exactly than reproductions does, and it's very cheaper than a real painting; However the flat prints less brushstrokes it's no way to represent the soul of the original oil paintings, if your budget allowed, you are suggested to buy a top-quality painting reproductions, in fact, you may aware of that buying from our online gallery you will get big save than your local retail art shop.

If I order a framed painting, I will receive a ready to hang painting?

Yes, we stretch your painting and frame it, all necessary hardware would be included in your package, just hang it on your wall when you receive it.

Most of your sizes are maintain original aspect ratios. Can I order a standard size or any size I want?

Yes. You can request paintings in any size you want. Most customers like to maintain the painting's original aspect ratio, keeping the original aspect between the painting's length and width. If the size you need does not match the painting's original aspect ratio our experienced artists will extend or reduce some of the painting's background to achieve the best possible result. We can also reproduce detail paintings of a larger original. Our artists are very flexible and there is not limit to what they can do. Just let us know what you want.

My original photo is blurry. Can I send more than one photos for details?

No problems, we have experience adding details to a painting from multiple photographs. Our artists can use the details that you provided to make your painting capture every details on your canvas.

What if my painting is damaged during shipping?

In a very rare case that your painting arrives damaged, please immediately notify the courier company and then inform us. All our paintings are insured and we will immediately work on a replacement for you.

What if we received damaged return item(s)?

We gladly accept any returns that follow the above return guidelines. However, art products are very delicate, meaning you need to take extreme measures to ensure the items are returned undamaged. If we do receive a damaged item as a return and we are unable to re-enter the item into our inventory, then we can offer you the option of the following remedies:

1) We can return the items(s) to you at no further charge.
2) We can refund you 50% of the purchase price of the items(s)

 

What if you received damaged package?

If you found the package is damaged, please reject it, and inform us immediately, we'll arrange a replacement for you or refund full payment to you if you don't accept replacement.

What is the biggest size I can order on your site?

As you will see on our order form, our largest paintings are 120 inches by 120 Inches (3 meters by 3 meters). However, if you have a special request, our artists can work on even much larger canvases according to your requirements.

What is the requirement of photos for painting from a photo?

All we need is a quality photograph includes all details what you want to show on the painting, and our artists can reproduce it.

What is the shipping cost?

For normal orders, shipping is free to worldwide. However, if you are a wholesale customer, please contact us for details.

What precautions are taken to ship the painting to customer safely?

If you purchased the framed paintings, the items will be packaged in bubble wrap and shipped in a double wall carton box; In case your ordered the unframed painting only, the paintings will be rolled inside a tube.

You just pay the price you seen on our website, one price, it's final, no hidden fee. All costs such as shipping, insurance and fees are included and you won't be asked to pay anything else.

Who are your artists?

Our artists and painters have, on average, 10 years of experience and most of them have advanced degrees in fine arts, they come from various provinces of China and now living in Dafen Oil Painting Village.

Why your price lower than most online gallery?

<p>We have a gallery in Dafen Oil Paintings Village in Shenzhen, China. All our paintings were offered direct by artists in Dafen Village. The lower labour cost and direct offer from artist are two reasons why we can offer lower price to online buyers. Will your artist sign the painting?

No, usually we do not sgin unless there was a sginature on the original painting. Anyhow, we can sgin as per customer's request.
